Orange peel pickle
Ingredients Preparation Instructions
Orange peels 4 Fruits 1.Slice the Orange peels into tiny pieces.
2.Heat oil in a pan splutter mustardeeds,feugreek seeds,asteofeda,chilli powder and turmeric powder.stir well
3.Add chopped garlic,curry leave and green chillies.fry for 2 min.
4.Add orange peel and Add salt.fry for 5 min.
5.Add tamarind juice and cook for 5 min.
6.After a few minutes, add the jaggery. When the pickle takes the form of a thick gravy, remove from flame.
Tamarind juice 1/2 cup
Jaggery 1 cup
Chilly Powder 1 TS
Tureric Powder 1/2 TS
Asafoetida 1 S
Garlic 10
Green chilli 4
Fenugreek seeds 1 S

Wheat paratha

Ingredients Preparation Instructions
Wheat 1 cup 1.Add water and salt to wheat flour and knead it properly to make soft dough..
2.Keep it aside for 15 min.
3.Take a ball shape from the dough and make chapathi.
4.Ghee is added in between and again fold into rectangular shape and again rolled to make cahpapthi.
5.You can make a palin chapathi sahpe and fold it into a flower shape usually we are doing while making paratha.
6.Heat the thava and press the folded flower shaped dough in round chapathi model.
7.Add oil in side when needed.
8.Healthy wheat porotta is ready.Try to avoid maida paratha.

Salt 1/2 cup
Water As needed

Soya Vermicilli Pulavu

Ingredients Preparation Instructions
Soya chunks 1 cup 1. Pressure cook the soya chunks for 10 min.drain and sqeece it and cut into small peaces.
2.Heat oil in a pan,add onion,green chilli and curry leaves.saute for 5 min.Add chopped garlic.
3.Add chopped vegetables and soya chunks.
4.Add all the spices and saute well.
5.Add vermicelli.mix well.
6.Add salt and 2 cup of water.close the lid of pan and cook for 10 min.
7.Stir the mix often while cooking.
Vermicilli 2 cup
Onion 1
Carrot,beans chopped 1 cup
Green chilli 2
garlic 1 TS
Garam masala 1 S
Chilli powder 1/2 S
Turmeric powder 1/4 S
Salt to taste
Oil to season

Wheat idli

 
Ingredients Preparation Instructions
Wheat rava 1 cup 1.Soak mung dal for 3 hour.Grind the daal into a smooth paste..
2.Add this paste to wheat rava.Add baking soda and salt.Mix well.
3.Heat oil in a pan,splutter mustard seeds,urd dal,curry leaves.
4.Add finely chopped ginger,green chillies,coriander leaves,saute well.
5.Add this to the batter.mix well.
6.Steam cook idlis on medium flame for about 10 minutes.
Mung Dal 1/4 cup
Ginger 1 peace
Green chillies 2
Corinader leaves 1 TS
Mustard seed 1 S
Urd dal 1 S
Curry leaves 10
Baking soda 1 pinch(Optional)
Salt to taste
Oil to taste

Oats Idli

Ingredients Preparation Instructions
Oats 1 cup 1.Roast oats for 2 min without oil in low flame until a good smell comes.Powder the oats
2.Heat oil in a pan,splutter mustard seeds,urd dal,curry leaves
3.Add chopped vegitables(I used carrots,beans etc..).
4.Add finely chopped ginger,green chillies,coriander leaves,saute well.
5.Add wheat rava.stir well for 2 min.
6.Add curd,baking soda(for softness) and salt.Mix well.Remove from flame.
7.Keep the batter for 10 min and you can start making healthy yummy idli.

Chopped Vegitables 1 cup
